#PrideIncluded: LGBTIQ+ Inclusivity and Equity (Pride Month 2022)

This year's theme, #PrideIncluded, embraces not only inclusion, but also diversity and accessibility for all. Every individual, regardless of their sexual orientation or gender identity, deserves equal access to opportunities and services, and their safety should be protected. LGBTIQ+ people are among the most marginalized and excluded members of society, and they are vulnerable to stigma, violence, discrimination, and exclusion.

This session will encourage participants to explore their own roles in including LGBTIQ+ people in the community. Participants will benefit by

  • Recognizing their responsibility for promoting equality and diversity
  • Encouraging a zero-tolerance environment, participating in reducing discrimination and harassment of LGBTIQ+ communities
  • Becoming an ally to support and include LGBTIQ+ people in the community and in the workplace
